The Su-25 has many of the same attributes as the A-10. The Frogfoot, which is a slow, heavily armored, twin-engine, and single-seat ground attack aircraft, is intended to loiter over the battlefield and search for targets. Survivability and payload are of paramount importance, and both attributes have been tested in Afghanistan and Chechnya.
